Modern homes today have all kinds of different materials in them that perhaps were not available in the past. Because we now like to go for quality, we are often seen to experiment with marble or terrazzo finishes that require some form of treatment to keep them looking good. Conversely, we may want to put in some kind of writing or emblem in the finish too and this is done by using a sandblast resist technique usually used in industry. A sandblast stencil features a clever way to either leave some of the surface untouched, or provide a pattern so that the rest of the material can be removed. Either way, the surface is left with a wonderful finished look that also looks very professional too.
In industry, this technique is often used to clean old buildings from all the debris and dirt that builds up on it over the years. Obviously, some of the surface material will be removed under this high-pressured treatment, so if there is anything on the surface that must be preserved, like dates or designs for example, it must be covered so that the treatment does not take away any of the detail. This would be a great shame if the building is ancient or of great historical value. Monuments too are created in this way. Although templates are commonly produced by these companies, they do tend to offer other kinds of services too under the same umbrella. This could include things like plastic paint to be sprayed onto the sides of buildings and fences to protect the materials underneath. Some houses are made of wood and we all know what the weather can do to this material. Likewise, bridges and anything made of metal can also deteriorate in the weather too so these companies have all kinds of paints which serve to keep out the moisture which destroys it. They even provide some forms of metal spraying too to build up the parts which have been eaten away by rust and the like. In fact, anything that is needed in an industrial process, these companies is well-versed in most of them.
Lastly, it is well worth doing some research to see what processes are available to anyone who is in the business of building or construction. Finding a great company to do it is also a good thing to look out for.
