With proper care xenon headlamps can last to approximately 10 years or about 3 times longer than halogen bulbs.
HID lights use less electricity but produce more luminosity because Xenon gases unlike Halogen and other gases produce light immediately when switched on. It uses 25% less power and produce 25% more light. For unsatisfied car owners still using Halogen there are do-it-yourself HID conversion kit sold online or in car manufacturers and showrooms to optimize car performance. Another great benefit why this HID kit should be purchased now is because it reduces carbon dioxide emissions. The reason behind this relies on lesser car engine work to produce electricity needed to illuminate the headlights.
