Long Time to Adjust the TaylorMade R9 460 Driver by Jessica Liu
It took me a very long time to adjust the TaylorMade R9 460 Driver to my liking, but once I found the setting that fit my game the club worked just as advertised. After multiple outings to the driving range I was still hitting the ball far shorter than I had been previously with my TaylorMade R580 XD. I subsequently closed the face a lot and tweaked my swing slightly, and voila. I can get a straight and long putt virtually every time.
The R9 460 is a nice step up from the standard R9, which has a smaller head size. The 460 has the full 460cc head size, which is the maximum limit available within USGA legal standards. The larger head size is the most popular amongst players because it offers the largest sweet spot and maximum forgiveness.

The combination of these settings proved to be a little bit lighter and easier on the fingers than the STR8-FIT.
